I have titled the works in this series after friends much in the same way as a civil engineer might name a street when designing a neighborhood. I am paying tribute to the way in which each person has touched my life and supported my journey into full-time art making. In their own way they have each represented a constant whisper of “yes you can, you should and really, you have no choice” in encouraging my creative process . The images are not symbolic of the individual but rather an acknowledgement of their place in my soul. |
